The EQUATOR Network learnt from Iain Hrynaszkiewicz, In-house Editor of Trials, that all of BioMed Central's journals with clinical content now include a link to the EQUATOR network website in the instructions for authors and peer review guidelines:

'Authors are requested to make use of these when drafting their manuscript and peer reviewers will also be asked to refer to these checklists when evaluating these studies.'

It is great to see more and more journals advising their authors to focus on clear, complete and transparent reporting of their research and guide them to the resources that help to achieve such goal.
