2nd EQUATOR Annual Lecture

'Redescribing medicine: reporting or reclaiming research for health?'

Following the great success of the inaugural Annual Lecture held last year at the EQUATOR launch meeting in London, UK, we would like to invite you to the 2nd EQUATOR Annual Lecture presented by

Dr Richard Horton

Editor-in-Chief of The Lancet

Date: 9 September 2009, 18:00 - 19:00,
Venue: The Westin Bayshore Hotel - Salon A, Vancouver

The talk will focus on important issues relating to the research reporting and will include areas such as publication bias against low-income countries, failure to collaborate fairly with authors in low/middle income countries, examining the global impact of research findings, equity issues in medical research, and how high-income countries might work to promote a fairer reporting of global health issues.

We hope that all congress participants will find the lecture of great interest and we look forward to seeing you there.
