Update to CONSORT checklist for reporting noninferiority and equivalence trials

The checklist for the CONSORT extension for reporting noninferiority and equivalence trials has recently been updated to reflect the changes made with the publication of the 2010 version of the CONSORT Statement and the 2008 CONSORT Statement for the reporting of abstracts. Illustrative examples are provided and explanations given for those items that differ from the main 2010 CONSORT checklist.
